We have just returned from 10 days in the sun and it was fantastic to relax and have someone else doing the cooking and the bed! While we were away, our dearest friends, Anne and Henryk looked after our dogs. One day, Henryk had taken both of them for a short walk - Chancer does not like to over-exercise - and Henryk had gone back for more with Diego. On their return, Chancer gathered enough energy to get up and welcome them at the door, Diego, delighted to see his "brother" ran to him and did not stop in time! Chancer did not have the room to duck and was head butted! Chancer now has a very impressive wound on his head and enjoys the extra attention he is getting. Diego being his usual "Me Me Me"-self demands the same amount of attention so you have to pretend cleaning a non existent wound from his head! It is quite funny to see! Henryk thinks that Diego is quite juvenile for his age and we totally agree!
As you might know our house is on the market If you know anyone looking for a lovely stone farmhouse with beautifully landscapes in a village which still has a post office, butcher, supermarket, petrol station, school, let them know!! Our home would be ideal for someone who wish to work from home with its off-road parking and annex.
